Welcome to Goat Gamers Lounge! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, gaming lounge, equipment, events, digital platforms, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

 

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services. Minors under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to verify age and deny access if necessary.

 

2. User Accounts & Membership

Certain features (e.g., reservations, tournaments, loyalty perks) may require an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete registration details

  • Keeping your login credentials secure

  • All activity conducted under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

 

3. Code of Conduct

By using our Services—whether online or in the lounge—you agree to:

  • Treat staff and other gamers with respect

  • Refrain from cheating, hacking, griefing, or exploiting systems

  • Avoid discriminatory, harassing, or abusive behavior

  • Use equipment responsibly and only as intended

Violation of this code may result in suspension, ban, or legal action.

 

4. Gameplay & Recording Consent

By participating in gaming activities (on-site or online), you consent to the recording, livestreaming, broadcasting, and public use of your gameplay, voice chat, avatar, and gamertag. These may be used by Goat Gamers Lounge for:

  • Marketing and promotional media

  • Esports and livestream content

  • Highlight reels, recap videos, and event documentation

You waive any rights to compensation or ownership of this content.

Where required by law (e.g., voice recordings in two-party consent states or marketing in the EU), we will request additional, specific consent. If you do not consent to this, please notify staff before participating in recorded activities.

Disclaimer: Goat Gamers Lounge is not responsible for unauthorized capture or redistribution of content by third parties during public events or livestreams.

 

5. Tournaments & Events

By registering for tournaments or events, you agree to the official rules, scoring systems, and the final decisions of our staff or referees. Prizes may require ID for claim and are non-transferable.

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or cancel events

  • Disqualify participants for misconduct

  • Delay events due to technical issues

 

6. Payments & Refunds

All transactions (e.g., game time, food, merchandise, event tickets) are processed through Stripe, PayPal, or other approved providers.

  • Prices are subject to change

  • All sales are final unless stated otherwise

  • No refunds for used time, digital goods, or missed reservations

  • Cancellations made 24 hours in advance may qualify for store credit at our discretion

 

7. Equipment Use & Damage

Users must treat all Goat Gamers Lounge equipment and property with care. Any damage, theft, or unauthorized tampering may result in:

  • Immediate removal from premises

  • Suspension of account privileges

  • Financial liability for repair or replacement

 

8. Third-Party Integrations

We may integrate or allow connections to services like:

  • Discord (chat/community)

  • Twitch & YouTube (streaming)

  • Facebook & Google (login tools)

  • Stripe & PayPal (payments)

Use of these third-party services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms. Goat Gamers Lounge is not liable for any issues, breaches, or disputes arising from your use of these platforms.

 

9. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, slogans (e.g., “Where Goats Play and Champions Arise”), and digital content created by or for Goat Gamers Lounge are the exclusive property of the business.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or profit from our content without prior written consent

  • Unauthorized use of our media, brand, or likeness may result in legal action

 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Goat Gamers Lounge is not liable for:

  • Service interruptions, system errors, or data loss

  • Injuries or damages from accidents or unsafe behavior during in-person use (beyond reasonable care)

  • Losses related to third-party platform use

  • Any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages

All services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

 

11. Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to Services for violations of these Terms or disruptive behavior. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us.

 

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. The latest version will always be available on our website. By continuing to use our Services after changes are posted, you accept the revised Terms.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law rules.

 

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Allegheny County, PA, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to participate in class actions or jury trials related to disputes with Goat Gamers Lounge.
